Well, the transport for getting to the database isn't as important has having the information in some kind of standard relational form. I'm running a Microsoft SQL server that I'd be happy to provide public access to, for instance, so things like musicians, release dates, and stuff could be added to album info. Call it CDDB plus, or something, and just use the CDDB ID as the key for everything.

I guess I could also write a web interface, and try to convince Colby to hit it with HTTP get's to pull the info.
