Slink-e Software Update

Hi-

I've released some new versions of CDJ and the SlinkX Control / server to fix some bugs and add some new features.

One significant addition is the creation of a new device file type called IRTXONLY which allows for the rapid generation of device files if you only need them for transmitting (which is the case for most people). I have created a new SlinkX-based program called EZLearn which allows you to generate these files by simply pressing buttons on your remote and naming them. You can then load these device files in the newest version of CDJ and use them to control your other stereo components.

EZLearn requires that you have the SlinkX control installed, so you will need to run the install.bat file in slinkx.zip before you can run EZLearn.

This program is very easy to use and I have yet to create documentation for it. If you are successful in using it, please send me any device files you create so that I can add them to the website for others to use! I hope to eventually modify EZLearn so that it can help you create general purpose receive and transmit IR device files.

Improved about box with web and mail links and version based on exe date.

Removed unused options from Local Database property sheet.

Added support for HTTP proxy servers. This is COMPLETELY UNTESTED. Give it a try and let me know.

Fixed a bug which was causing multiple players to begin playing when restarting a stopped playlist.

Added periodic mode polling of players to insure CDJ stays synchronized with the player state.

Split Mute event into Mute On and Mute Off events for systems which distiguish the two (e.g. S-Link
receivers).
